BlueSky PR: Business Education Highlights June 2018

Despite the World Cup beginning in June, the BlueSky Education team still managed to kick on and have a successful month, where we secured quality coverage in global, national and trade outlets for our clients. Here are some of June’s highlights:

Two of our clients, Imperial College Business School and ESCP Europe, ranked highly in the Financial Times Masters in Finance ranking which was released in mid-June. This led to the BlueSky team distributing a press release for both our clients, who ranked 2nd and 9th, respectively. This press release featured in a Poets & Quants review of the rankings and included quotes from representatives from both business schools.

A team of students from one of our clients, Imperial College Business School, set up an investment fund in which students from the business school were able to invest £100k in real assets to help develop their knowledge and skills needed for a career in asset management. After originally sending out a press release on this student investment fund, which featured in many publications, BlueSky also set up interviews with the Head’s of the fund for the Financial Times. Their quotes featured in two articles in the Financial Times MSc Finance report entitled, ‘Hands-on trading experience helps graduates find investment jobs’ and ‘Student funds teach investment with hard cash’.

The Financial Times MSc Finance report included great coverage for even more of our clients. A career profile of a student from our client, HEC Paris, featured in the report, whilst comment from a professor of one of our clients, SKEMA business school, featured in an article on the east-west contest for Asian finance students. A student from one of our clients, Durham University Business School, also featured in an article on the growth of demand for Islamic finance degrees, whilst there was even more coverage for Imperial College Business School in the form of comment from the dean in an article on how business schools are targeting women in finance.

Students from six of BlueSky’s clients featured in an article on BusinessBecause, about the interview process they undertook for their MBA. The students were asked to discuss their experience of the interview process, what questions they were asked in their interview and any advice they would give to future applicants. The clients who featured were, Durham University Business School, Imperial College Business School, ESMT Berlin, Vlerick Business School, University of Edinburgh Business School and HEC Paris.

These are just a few examples of the quality coverage that we have secured for our clients this month.
