BlueSky PR January 2019 PR Highlights

The BlueSky PR team kicked off the New Year in style by achieving over 100 pieces of quality coverage for our clients across the recruitment, HR and talent management sectors. Here are some of January’s PR highlights.

It was an extremely busy start to 2019 for talent crowdsourcing platform AnyGood?. Its co-founder Juliet Eccleston discussed how MBAs can harness the power of peer recommendations in a guest article for the Association of MBAs. Eccleston also highlighted the lack of corporate diversity in a blog for HR Zone and provided comment for a Natwest Content Live feature which looked at the issues of bias in the recruitment process. News that the platform had achieved Sharing Economy UK membership was covered by Bdaily and Recruitment Buzz.

Matthew Haswell, director of energy at Samuel Knight International provided his thoughts on the UK government’s nuclear strategy in a feature for Compelo. Whilst the announcement that the project man-power specialist had received significant investment was covered by a variety of titles, such as Chronicle Live, the Global Recruiter and Wealth & Finance International.

Research undertaken by workforce solutions provider Guidant Global received coverage from a number of industry publications including HR Magazine, Recruitment International and Staffing Industry Analysts. Its data revealed that almost half of UK-based hiring managers are finding difficult to access the quality and volume of talent their businesses need to thrive.

Alexander Mann Solutions’ sector managing director, Nicola Hancock outlined why investment banks should implement strategic workforce plans in a guest article for Finance Monthly. Whilst global head of employer branding & experience, Sondra Dryer highlighted why marketers need to work collaboratively with other departments to enhance employee engagement in a guest blog for MyCustomer. Finally, the talent management specialist’s global head of technology, Erica Titchener commented on AESC research which found that HR is the second least digitally advanced business function for Recruiting Times.
