BlueSky PR December 2018 Highlights

It was a December to remember for the BlueSky PR team, as we achieved over 140 pieces of coverage over the festive period for our clients across the recruitment and talent management arena. Here are some of the month’s highlights.

While the future of Brexit still hangs in the balance, 6CATS International warned recruiters to check whether their overseas compliance solutions are legal following the news that France, Germany and the UK will cease issuance of A1 certificates post March 2019. This was covered by Global Recruiter and Recruitment Buzz.

Advice from global talent acquisition specialist Alexander Mann Solutions which urged UK business leaders to invest in effective employee engagement strategies to help protect profits in the New Year, was featured by titles including Staffing Industry Analysts and Recruitment International. Whilst comment from vice-president Beth Miller on how its clients are improving workplace gender equality appeared in Forbes.

The Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative’s (RIDI) parliamentary reception garnered press coverage with titles, such as Business Matters, leading with comments made by keynote speaker and minister for disabled people, Sarah Newton MP at the event.

Comment from Rob Enright, managing director at energy and rail specialist Samuel Knight International, on how Crossrail’s delays will exacerbate the market’s skills shortages was featured by publications such as Recruitment Buzz and Recruitment International. And the firm’s chief financial director Carl Moffett explained why the role of a modern-day FD has now expanded beyond financial reporting to include instilling a business’s core values in a guest article for Director of Finance.
