BlueSky PR May 2018 Highlights

There is no such thing as a ‘quiet month’ at BlueSky PR, and May certainly didn’t disappoint with our team generating over 120 pieces of quality coverage for clients. Here are some of the highlights.

Findings from Alexander Mann Solutions’ latest white paper ‘The Next Chapter: Your New Global Graduate Programme’ was featured by a number of HR and recruitment titles, including the HR Director and Recruitment Buzz. The thoughts of chief technology officer Andrew Wayland on how the rise of voice technology can benefit HR leaders was covered by Personnel Today and HR Grapevine, whilst client partner Paul Modley discussed the skills that people with disabilities can bring to businesses for an Economia feature which focused on their barriers to employment.

Healthier Recruitment announced that it had won a place on the NHS North of England Collaborative Procurement Partnership’s (NOE CPC) Framework Agreement for Healthcare Consultancy Services which was covered by the Global Recruiter and Recruitment International. Reactive comment from managing director Michael Johnson-Ellis on the NHS spending £1.46 billion on agency nurses, a recruitment blunder by the Royal College of Physicians and figures showing that there are 3,000 fewer nurses working in the NHS from the European Economic Area also appeared in a number of titles.

Research from the Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo) which revealed that three quarters of recruiters do not see the value in the controversial Apprenticeship Levy received coverage in publications including Recruitment International, Recruitment Grapevine and Onrec.

We also secured a number of opportunities for boutique agency Global Accounting Network. Founding director Adrian O’Connor provided his expertise for a Financial Management feature on interview technique and shared his knowledge in two AAT articles; one focusing on how accountants can succeed alongside AI and the second on how accounting students should plan their future careers. The agency’s data on demand for FP&A professionals also picked up further coverage in May with coverage in International Finance and PQ Magazine.
