BlueSky PR February 2019 PR Highlights

It has been a busy February here at BlueSky PR, with the team achieving over 100 pieces of quality coverage for our clients across the recruitment and talent management arena. Here are some of the month’s highlights.

Analysis from Consult Inhouse received coverage from titles including Recruitment Buzz and London Loves Business. Data from the inhouse recruitment solutions provider highlighted the lack of visibility around total staffing spend as it revealed that small and medium businesses are spending, on average, £116,545 per year on recruitment agency fees, even if they are not increasing headcount.

The launch of 6CATS International’s consulting business, 6CATSPRO was featured by the Global Recruiter, whilst CEO Michelle Reilly’s advice for recruitment firms to refocus their efforts on international markets was covered by APSCo, CEO Monthly and Recruitment Buzz. Reilly also provided her expertise for Contractor UK’s ‘contractor’s questions’ column, where she answered a query from a contractor seeking compliance advice about a possible placement in France.

Healthier Recruitment’s managing director, Margo Leftly offered her advice on producing a well-written job description to help streamline the recruitment process for Practice Business. The specialist healthcare recruiter’s managing director, Michael Johnson-Ellis outlined how the NHS could implement strategic workforce management to improve retention in an article for Hospital Hub. Analysis conducted by the firm also revealed that the NHS is wasting £300m because of disjointed staffing strategies. This was picked up by a variety of publications including Recruitment International, Staffing Industry Analysts and the print edition of the Daily Star.

Engage Technology Partners director, Adam Lee discussed how businesses can address the challenge of contingent talent wastage in workforce management processes in a guest blog for HR Zone. Whilst comment from director, Alex Fraser on why established recruitment agencies need to embrace digital transformation appeared in Recruitment Buzz and On-Trade Progress.
