For many, November 2020 will be remembered as the month spent in lockdown…again. However, for BlueSky Education’s clients it’ll be remembered for the countless press hits and extensive media attention secured.

Here’s a few press highlights from November

Firstly, BlueSky entered November with a bang, securing media coverage for both Trinity Business School and Imperial College Business School in the Daily Telegraph. The article, or should I say articles, looked at career changes – how to, the challenges faced and the benefits to – at different stages of life. The articles were featured in the print edition of the Sunday Telegraph, as well as being published online.

And there was plenty of online media coverage secured in national press during November. Research from Durham University Business School was featured in a piece for the Irish Times around the impact of popular culture on real-world managerial style.

Looking further afield, BlueSky achieved brilliant media exposure for Imperial College Business School and Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) in the Wall Street Journal. The article, looking at the growing number of international MBA applicants looking to other nations than the USA amid COVID-19, saw both schools showcase impressive application statistics. Media coverage like this is ideal in setting out both schools as highly sought-after institutions for the world’s top MBA applicants.

Throughout November, BlueSky also secured an amazing amount of media coverage in education press, from BusinessBecause to FINDMBA. We secured extensive press exposure for our clients in Poets&Quants, one of the world’s leading business education-focused publications. One standout example comes from Vlerick Business School which featured in an article via one of its alumni. The article, which looked at entrepreneurship on the Master in Management programme, showcased the student’s profile, highlighting the relationship between his time at Vlerick and his current activity as an entrepreneur.

Looking beyond education press, we also achieved amazing results for our clients around topical subjects. For one expert at LSE IDEAS, BlueSky Education secured both an op-ed opportunity, as well as a comment opportunity, in Euronews – one of Europe’s most widely read and viewed news outlets which is said to reach around 400 million homes throughout the continent – around the impact Joe Biden’s victory in the US Presidential Election on US-Serbian relations.

This is just a snapshot of the coverage we secured for our clients last month. If you’d like help achieved media coverage for your business school or university, contact the BlueSky Education team today.
