With spring now officially sprung, we’ve been springing into action at BlueSky Education, continuing to secure top-tier coverage for our clients. Familiar names and faces popped up in press all around the world, from The European to The Bharat Express News and News Ghana: here’s a round-up of what April looked like for BlueSky’s clients.

One fantastic piece of coverage was an interview in The Times in which Jonathan Haskel from Imperial College Business School warns of the necessity for modernisation or economic bodies face a low-growth future. With the shift towards hybrid working post-pandemic, intangible assets like software packages are increasingly important to corporations. Business schools that show high levels of technical competency stand out as the ones able to prepare students for the future of work.

Another insightful interview appeared in Forbes featuring Luftey Siddiqi from LSE IDEAS speaking on how diversity and cooperation are the keys to success in a climate of business uncertainty. In an economic landscape rocked by international conflict and sanctions, as well as rapid technological advancement and climate change, it’s important for business and higher education institutions to draw expertise and talent from many different sources, to share different perspectives on issues and create innovate solutions.

This was also the thinking behind an op-ed written by Agata Mirowska of NEOMA Business School for The European on the importance of welcoming international faculty. The article highlighted NEOMA’s approach to integrating new recruits not just into a fresh work environment, but into their life in a new country as well. Demonstrating a commitment to staff wellbeing off, as well as on, the campus is a great way for schools to tempt talented faculty into seeking opportunities to take their careers abroad.

Aside from promoting schools’ expert spokespeople, we had plenty of success disseminating research this month. A press release we sent out for Aalto University School of Business, detailing the results of a study that shows women who cowork with their spouses earn a greater share of the household income, was snatched up by 16 news outlets! Included among these was Business Matters, one of the UK’s foremost business publications, with a readership mostly comprised of owners and managers of SME’s in the UK, who will make for highly engaged readers.

Then of course there is the spread of coverage we’ve secured in trade press publications, including appearances in AACSB Insights for EHL Hospitality Business School, emlyon business school and others; and guidance for candidates taking their GMAT exams from Alliance Manchester Business School featured in an article on MBA.com.

Nevertheless, there’s always so much more than can be squeezed into one of these round-ups. If you want to learn more about what we do and how it can help support your business school’s relationship with international media, contact BlueSky Education today.
