Coronavirus

Our thoughts are with all of you during these times of uncertainty and anxiety. In response to the COVID-19 outbreak we wanted to give you an update on the measures that we're taking at BlueSky.

Please be assured we are open and maintaining normal operations for all clients.

The BlueSky PR and BlueSky Education teams are committed to following government guidance regarding the coronavirus outbreak and mitigating its impact on our employees, clients, suppliers and our wider community.

Prior to the latest government advice on social distancing, we have always ensured that guidance and facilities for following safe hygiene practices is available across the organisation.

A Coronavirus communication and awareness process has been implemented for employees through a combination of emails, phone calls and team meetings. This includes facts from authoritative resources along with clear instructions in the event employees suspect they have been exposed to Coronavirus.

First and foremost, our number one priority is the safety and well-being of our people, families, clients and the communities in which we live and work. All staff globally have adopted flexible working arrangements to meet their individual needs. Using cloud technologies they will be able to continue to work safely and productively from home for as long as locally mandated quarantines require.

We remain available for all our clients and will continue with business as normal operations remotely. The team can still be reached on the phone, via email and over video calls and we encourage anyone to get in touch should they have any queries.

We’re assessing the situation daily, remaining vigilant, and following all recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and local authorities across the globe.

At this point in time there will be no disruption to the service we provide. We are comfortable in our ability to navigate through the challenges ahead and help you maintain operations.

Following government travel directives all external and internal meetings will currently take place via video or conference call. If you have not been contacted to arrange the details for this then a member of our team will be in touch with you soon or you can call us on +44 (0) 1582 790700 to discuss.

Our business continuity plans have always factored in arrangements for employee illness and should a member of your usual account team be unavailable then we have the resources to ensure you continue to receive outstanding PR support during this time.

If you have any queries or would like to discuss the impacts of Coronavirus (COVID-19) on your business and PR strategy, then please get in touch.
